RADAR LOVE

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!  It certainly doesn’t feel like it over here, although I may try and have a piece of cake or some chocolate today, it’s not the same.

Last week we had a Comedy Central group come in and do some stand-up for us.  It was hysterical!  Scott Kennedy http://www.comicscott.com/ has been to Iraq 26 times in two years.  I was really surprised at how blue the comedy was.  There were two other comics with him, unfortunately, I cannot remember their names now, but they were all great.  It was nice to have a break from the normal routine.

There was also a rock concert scheduled.  The band Filter www.officialfilter.com/ canceled their outdoor concert.  The official reason was “inclimate weather,” although the day the show was scheduled, it was a clear, nice day.  Although I only know a few songs by Filter, I was really looking forward to the show, a lot of us were.  So we were pretty bummed, oh well.  They’ll be other events.
